About Spreadcraft

What we do

Spreadcraft publishes hands-on reviews. Before we score a product we open a live account, pass the identity checks, deposit our own money, place trades or buy the metal, and then ask for the money back. The review is written from that record: the spreads we saw, the fees we paid, the days a withdrawal took and the answers support gave us.

Every review ends in a score out of 10 and a plain verdict that says who should use the product and who should skip it. The rankings sort every review by that score.

The desks

Reviews are grouped into desks, each with its own questions:

• Blue-Chip Forex Brokers: Long-established, tier-one regulated brokers, including US and UK options, for traders who rank safety first.
• Crypto Exchanges: Exchanges for buying, selling and trading Bitcoin, Ethereum and other crypto assets, compared on fees, security and licensing.
• Global Retail Brokers: Brokers built for traders across Asia, Africa and Latin America, with low deposits, local payments and flexible leverage.
• Gold and Bullion Dealers: Dealers and vaulting services for buying physical gold and silver, judged on premiums, storage costs and buyback terms.
• Multi-Asset and Social Trading: App-first platforms that put forex, stocks, gold and crypto CFDs in one account, often with copy trading.
• Prop Trading Firms: Funded-trader programs that sell an evaluation and pay a profit split, judged on rules, payouts and track record.
• Raw Spread Brokers: ECN-style forex brokers that sell tight raw spreads plus a per-lot commission to active and algorithmic traders.
• Trading Platforms and Tools: Charting platforms, trading terminals, backtesters and account analytics that traders use alongside their broker.

Independence

No broker, exchange, dealer or firm can pay for a review, a score or a place in the rankings, and none sees a review before it is published. Some outbound “Visit site” links may earn us a referral fee; that never changes a score, and a product we would not use ourselves is not linked for that reason.

What we are not

We are not financial advisers and nothing here is a personal recommendation. Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money quickly. Crypto assets are volatile and largely unregulated. Nothing on Spreadcraft is personal financial advice. Decide with your own circumstances in mind, and never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
